The day of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera of St. Petersburg of the FMBA of Russia, the Director of the Pan american Health Organization (PAHO), sent a video of congratulations and to wish him the same, the best success and exortandole to its continuous and active work, in search of universal immunization of the American population:
“Today, on the day of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Institute of Vaccines and Serums in St. Petersburg, I want to send you a message of congratulations on the achievements of the Institute, which it has achieved, during its amazing history. Without such a contribution to public health and, in particular, without access to quality vaccines, we could not achieve the ambitious goal of universal health for all.
The Pan American Health Organization has been fortunate to support the flu vaccine technology transfer project in Nicaragua. This process has allowed us to learn from each other, pool our capabilities and update our knowledge, to transfer innovative technology to Central America for the first time. Building on this successful collaboration, we look forward to joining our efforts to improve and have universal access to high-quality vaccines in the Americas. Congratulations! Spasibo!
