Round table

In the framework of the Conference organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the State Institute of Medicines and Good Practices, the General Manager of the MECHNIKOV Institute Stanislav Uiba made a presentation about the experience of the Institute during the process of GMP Certification and Registration by the Center for State Control of Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices (CECMED) of Cuba.

The round table dealt with specific aspects of the process and the collaboration between both institutions, and special attention was paid to accompanying CECMED in the Prequalification process of the Institute's fractionated inactivated influenza vaccine (VAIF) before the WHO.

In recent years, this Conference has received representatives of the global pharmaceutical community from Russia, the United States, Austria, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, Mexico, Great Britain, Cuba, Germany, Brazil, and other countries. Conference partners are leading Russian and international companies, major industry players and professional communities.

Every year the event takes place in a new region of Russia, helping the organizers to demonstrate good practices in various parts of the country and the participants to familiarize themselves with the regional aspect of organizing the health system and the provision of medicines.
